Salt Shaker Kazoo

        

One of my early kazoos made from a large wooden salt shaker.

It has a nice tone.
The mouth hole is in the top where you can't see it in this picture.  
You can see the air exit hole on the side of the top.
The finger holes are fake, partially drilled.
The membrane is seen just under the top cap.
The scratches are the drill slipping when making the fake finger holes.
